Authorities investigated Friday the recent discovery of human remains in Santa Clarita.
Detectives went to an area near Magic Mountain Parkway and Railroad Avenue about 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
A power company employee working on a power pole spotted the remains, including a skull, and called authorities, sheriff’s Lt. Leo Bauer told the Los Angeles Daily News.
Information was not immediately available on a possible identity or cause of death.
