Detectives Saturday investigated the shooting death of a man in Huntington Park.
Deputies responded at 5:25 p.m. Friday to a call of a person down in the 6500 block of Wilson Avenue and located the victim lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso, according to Deputy Tony Moore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Moore said.
No weapon was recovered and a detailed description of the suspected shooter was not available, Moore said.
