A search was underway Monday for a 66-year-old insulin-dependent woman suffering from dementia who went missing from her Carson home.
Wanda Lena Karo last was seen about 8 a.m. Saturday at her home on Ironwood Lane, sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Koerner said.
Karo is black, 5 feet 6, about 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black dress with a purple and pink pattern.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s department at (323) 890-5500. Tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
