A Los Angeles police detective has sought a temporary restraining order against a second officer who allegedly disseminated revenge porn following an affair, it was reported Friday.

Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division Detective Ysabel Villegas claims that she and Senior Lead Officer Danny Reedy engaged in a five-year affair and that Reedy distributed explicit images of her when the romantic relationship ended, according to an ABC7 report.

Villegas is married to former LAPD Assistant Chief Jorge Villegas, who retired earlier this year when an affair with another officer came to light in a Los Angeles Times report.

Villegas also alleges that Reedy was physically abusive, her attorney Lisa Bloom told reporters, but Reedy’s attorney Michael Williams told ABC7 that Reedy didn’t take photos of the detective and did not have a long-term relationship with her.

A statement issued by the Los Angeles Police Department said it was illegal for it to comment “on personnel matters including any ongoing or completed investigations.”

“The LAPD thoroughly investigates any allegations of misconduct whether from the public or a department employee and takes appropriate disciplinary action when necessary,” according to the statement. “Officer Reedy is assigned to home.”
