The coroner’s office Tuesday released the name of a man shot to death in San Dimas.
Michael Moreno, 35, was a Pomona resident, coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz said.
The condition of a man wounded in the same shooting was not available. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The shooting occurred at 6:20 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Acacia Street, near Pioneer Park, Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
“One of the male Hispanic adults was discovered in the street next to the sidewalk and in close proximity to a parked vehicle,” Koerner said. “He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“It is unknown if the incident was gang related and there is no suspect and/or vehicle information at this time,” Koerner said.
