Authorities searched Tuesday for the person suspected of shooting to death a 26-year-old man in Norwalk.
Deputies responded at 4:50 p.m. Monday to a call of a gunshot victim in the 14300 block of Carmenita Road and located the person, who had suffered at least one gunshot wound to the upper body, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Navarro-Suarez said.
A preliminary investigation determined the victim was targeted by at least one suspect, but a detailed description of the shooter was not available and the murder weapon was not recovered, Navarro-Suarez said.
