One person was killed and three others injured Saturday morning in a six-vehicle crash on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood.

Crews responded at 5:15 a.m. to the scene near Barham Boulevard and located the victims, one of whom may have been ejected from one of the vehicles involved, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Three people were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Stewart said. The ages and genders of the victims were not released.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
