Police Wednesday announced the arrests of three men suspected in a residential burglary spree in Pasadena.

Lorenzo Rincon, 24, and 27-year-old Andrew Resendez, both of Pasadena, and 36-year-old Mark Arreola of Huntington Park were arrested Friday, according to Pasadena police Lt. John Luna.

The three are suspected of involvement, beginning in December, in at least 10 residential burglaries and two cases of identity theft, along with receiving stolen property, Luna said.

An investigation by Pasadena police burglary Detective Sid Abraham generated leads from a December burglary and led officers to a motel in an unincorporated area in the 3800 block of East Colorado Boulevard, Luna said.

“Officers saw suspect Rincon exiting a parked car and run to a motel room where additional occupants, including Rincon, were detained,” according to the lieutenant, who said the investigation led to the recovery of stolen mail and documents from other burglaries.

“Detectives suspect personal paperwork stolen during the residential burglaries was used in at least two identity theft cases,” he said. “Detectives are investigating the suspects’ involvement in over 10 cases involving residential burglaries and identity theft.”
