Two employees of a restaurant in Diamond Bar were stabbed as they left the business and authorities searched Thursday for their attackers.

Deputies responded about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to a robbery call at a restaurant in the 300 block of South Diamond Bar Boulevard, but once they arrived they determined no robbery had occurred and the two men had been assaulted, according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victims were taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Crowder said.

The two suspects drove away from the scene in a dark vehicle, he said.

A detailed description of the suspects was not immediately available. A motive for the attack was not disclosed.

A news photographer at the scene identified the restaurant as the Dilliwala Indian Kitchen.
