A Fullerton street was closed to traffic just north of the Riverside (91) Freeway Monday after a traffic stop led to the discovery of a possible mobile drug lab, authorities said.

The incident began with a traffic stop at 1:14 a.m. by the California Highway Patrol and when the U-Haul box truck was stopped on Brookhurst Road around Roberta Avenue authorities discovered what appeared to be a methamphetamine lab in the back, Fullerton police said.

A hazardous materials team was on the scene and northbound Brookhurst Road was shut down from the Riverside Freeway to Roberta Avenue.

Reporters at the scene said one person was taken into custody.
