Police Thursday sought the public’s help in locating a 61-year-old man who went missing in Redondo Beach.
Jeffrey Arild Keidser hasn’t been seen since Jan. 22.
About 8:15 a.m. that day, his sister dropped her two dogs off at his home in the 700 block of Avenue C, according to Redondo Beach Police Department Sgt. Mark Valdivia.
He had agreed to bring the dogs to his sister’s home in Torrance the following day, but never showed up, Valdivia said.
Family members went to Keidser’s place but did not locate him, although they did find one of the dogs and Keidser’s cellphone on a counter, Valdivia said.
Officers checked Keidser’s home and found no evidence of foul play. A neighbor told police they saw him about 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 23, Valdivia said.
“Jeffrey is believed to have the other dog, Frankie,” Valdivia said.
Family members believe that Keidser is driving a silver 2004 Saturn L3 sedan with the California license plate number 6PCD694.
Keidser is described as white, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 170 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a T-shirt, sweat pants and sandals when he was last seen.
Anyone with information regarding Keidser’s whereabouts was urged to call Redondo Beach police at (310) 379-2477.
