A man who barricaded himself inside a residence in Beverly Hills for nearly four hours was in custody Friday morning facing at least two charges.
Officers responded just after 6 p.m. Thursday to a report of a gunman in the 200 block of South Reeves Drive, between Wilshire and Olympic boulevards, a block east of Beverly Drive, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
The man initially refused to come out, but was taken into custody about 9:40 p.m., according to a police watch commander.
The man was booked on suspicion of assault with a firearm and false imprisonment, police said.
