Two men died from wounds suffered in a shooting in San Pedro, authorities said Friday.
Officers responded about 9:50 p.m. Thursday to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Santa Cruz Street and found two men, both believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, suffering from at least one gunshot wound each, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital, where he later died, police said.
A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available and it was unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
