A woman who may have been distracted by her dog jumping around in the front seat of her car crashed into the patios of two homes in Orange, authorities said Thursday morning.
The woman was driving on the 5800 block of Creekside Avenue about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday when she lost control of her vehicle and hit the patios, causing minor damage, according to the Orange Police Department. A small dog was moving around in the front seat of the vehicle at the time of the crash, police said.
No injuries were reported.
The driver also struck a post and bush and narrowly missed a couple vehicles, according to a news photographer at the scene. The dog was described as a 2-year-old Yorkie, he said.
