Nine people were arrested in a raid at an illegal gambling establishment in Buena Park, authorities said Wednesday morning.
Because the people running the operation were known to be armed, a SWAT team served a search warrant at a business located in a strip mall at Dale Street and La Palma Avenue at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Buena Park Police Department.
Nine people were taken into custody and several gambling machines were seized, police said.
No injuries were reported.
