An investigation was underway Monday into the shooting death of a man in Boyle Heights.
The victim was identified as Enrique Becerra, 37, who had no address, the coroner’s office said.
Becerra was shot at about 4 a.m. Sunday at 120 S. Mathews St., Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section said.
Becerra was pronounced dead at the scene and a motive for the attack has not been established, Lopez said.
