Sheriff’s officials continued their request Sunday for the public’s help to find a man who vanished in the summer of 2013, when he was 19, and whose vehicle was recently found in the Castaic Lake area.
Bryce Laspisa was driving from Placer County to Orange County to see his parents, but never arrived at his destination, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
He was last seen about 2 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2013, in Kern County and has not been seen or heard from since.
“The beige 2003 Toyota Highlander that Bryce was driving at the time of his disappearance was located off Lake Hughes Road in Castaic Lake’s area,” according to a sheriff’s statement.
Laspisa is white. He stands 5-feet-11 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, the sheriff’s department said. He has red hair and blue eyes and a tattoo on his left arm and shoulder area. He was wearing white cargo shorts, a blue-and-white checkered shirt and white-and-red Nike shoes when he was last seen.
Anyone with information about Laspisa was urged to call sheriff’s investigators at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
