A burglary suspect who ran from police in an area of Redondo Beach west of Hawthorne Boulevard was in custody Thursday morning.
Officers on foot were assisted by a police helicopter in their search of neighborhoods north of 190th Street at Pruitt Drive, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department.
Police reported the suspect was in custody about 1:50 a.m.
Details of the burglary were not immediately available.
