Authorities Saturday circulated a photo of an 89-year-old man suffering from dementia who went missing Friday in Irvine.
Fawzi Darwish, who is also hard of hearing, was last seen about 1:30 p.m. Friday near his home in the area of Alton Parkway and Harvard Avenue, the Irvine Police Department reported.
Darwish was described as a 5-foot, 7-inch tall man of Middle-Eastern descent weighing approximately 160 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He is also missing some of his teeth.
He was last seen wearing a gray and brown suit with a gray scarf. He is also known to carry a brown leather briefcase and wears glasses.
Irvine police asked anyone with any information regarding Darwish’s whereabouts to call them at 714-724-7200.
