Deputies are investigating a midnight stabbing in Pico Rivera that left three people injured, authorities confirmed.
The incident, reported at 11:58 p.m. Saturday, took place in the 7600 block of Pico Vista Road.
A black Honda Civic was seen leaving the scene, but it was unclear how many suspects were inside, since the vehicle had tinted windows, Lt. Jodi Hutak of the sheriff’s Pico Rivera station said.
None of the wounds were life-threatening, and there may be an additional victim, she added.
The incident seemed to arise from a dispute at a high school house party that got out of control, Hutak said.
At least one of the victims was taken to Whittier Presbyterian Hospital, according to a witness.
