The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s SWAT team was called out early Thursday to help detectives serve a search warrant at a location in Hacienda Heights where 15 people were detained, authorities said.
It occurred at 12:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Hacienda Boulevard, officials at the Industry Sheriff’s Station said.
A person with a gun may have been involved in the situation and there was a large number of people inside the business, according to Deputy Eric Ortiz of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. A mental evaluation team was also at the scene.
The number of arrests was not available.
