Authorities Friday are investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured two juveniles in the Central Alameda neighborhood of South Los Angeles, police said.
The crash at 48th Street and Ascot Avenue in was reported about 2:20 p.m. and included a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to police.
Two juveniles, one with minor injuries, were taken to a hospital, police said.
Two suspects were taken into custody, police said.
It was unclear how the juveniles were hurt. Further details were not immediately available.
About an hour after the crash, another collision was reported in Central Alameda, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. in that two-vehicle crash, one person was ejected and four people were trapped in the wreckage, according to the department.
