A pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles in a Watts intersection Monday and died at the scene, authorities said.
The crash was reported just after 4 a.m. at Central Avenue and 112th Street, Officer Lizeth Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section said.
The victim, about 40 years of age, died at the scene, Lomeli said. Information was not immediately available on his identity.
One of the motorists stopped and rendered aid to the man, but the others did not stop, Lomeli said.
