A man accused of stabbing another man in a Manhattan Beach hotel turned himself in to police detectives Thursday.
Police were sent to the Crimson Hotel, 850 N. Sepulveda Blvd., about 2:45 a.m. Friday, said Manhattan Beach police Officer Christopher Ineguez. “Officers discovered a victim in his hotel room who had sustained multiple stab wounds,” Ineguez said.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he remains in stable condition, Ineguez said.
An investigation identified Lee Simpson, 31, as the suspect, and Thursday afternoon, he turned himself in to Manhattan Beach Police Department detectives.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident as suspect Simpson and the victim are known to each other,” Ineguez said.
