Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help Saturday to find an 87-year-old man suffering from dementia and diabetes who went missing in Compton.
RC Kendrick was last seen about 3:10 p.m. Friday in the area of Compton Boulevard and Tajauta Avenue, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Kendrick is black, stands 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds, the LASD said. He has brown eyes and short black hair, and was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt and black pants.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s missing persons unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
