A woman on a bicycle pulling a cart was struck by a vehicle and injured Monday in Stanton, authorities said.
It happened at 1:17 a.m. at Pacific Street and Magnolia Avenue, Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Wayne Rehnelt said.
Witnesses told deputies the vehicle left the scene, Rehnelt said.
The woman, believed about 50 years-old, was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening leg injury, he said.
Witnesses told deputies the vehicle was a sedan and debris left at the scene indicated it might be white, Rehnelt said.
Detectives will look for surveillance video in the area to get a more accurate description of the car, which has damage, he said.
