A clerk at a 7-Eleven store in the city of Riverside was found fatally shot Friday, and authorities were investigating whether the crime was related to a pair of earlier robberies of 7-Eleven stores in the county area of Riverside overnight in which no one was injured.
A customer found the body about 3:30 a.m. inside the business at Indiana and Arlington avenues, according to police and reports from the scene.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally wounded person. No arrests were reported.
Arrangements were being made to review security video from the businesses, police said.
