A police investigation shuttered all lanes on Highway 60 near Reservoir Street in Chino, disrupting the morning commute before just the eastbound lanes reopened.
Caltrans reported the eastbound lanes opened back up at 8:52 a.m., while the westbound lanes were reported closed at Central Avenue for an unspecified police investigation.
The Press Enterprise reported a police shooting occurred.
The closures were reported at 6:34 a.m. to be just affecting the eastbound lanes, later spreading to the entire roadway.
There was no immediate word on when the highway would fully reopen.
