Five people were injured this evening, one critically, in a multi-vehicle crash in Van Nuys.
The crash occurred about 6:40 p.m. in the 6400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, near Victory Boulevard, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One person is in critical condition, and four others sustained minor injuries, Stewart said. None of the patients were trapped in a vehicle and the crash did not start a fire.
The ages and genders of the victims was not released.
