A 37-year-old man suspected of shooting another man during a fight at a Corona restaurant was arrested, police said Sunday.
Officers received a call at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday that a person was shooting a gun inside the Mariscos El Barco restaurant at 1390 W. Sixth St., according to the Corona Police Department.
When they arrived, officers found a 24-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg inside the restaurant. The victim was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
The suspected gunman, Ruben Guzman of Lake Elsinore, was arrested while attempting to flee the restaurant in a vehicle, police said.
He was treated at a hospital for minor injuries he suffered during the fight before being booked into jail on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
