An investigation was underway Wednesday into the death of Josie Harris, former boxer Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend, who was found in a vehicle parked in the driveway of her home in Valencia.

The 40-year-old woman, who had three children with Mayweather, was found dead about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 25700 block of Oak Meadow Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy, the sheriff’s department said. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that there did not appear to be foul play involved.

Jann Robbins, the wife of the late novelist Harold Robbins, told ABC7 that she was co-writing a book on Harris’ story with her.

“She (Harris) was broken-hearted because they didn’t stay together,” Robbins told ABC7. “She said she loved him (Mayweather) and she loved the children.”

Mayweather was convicted of attacking Harris in a 2010 domestic violence incident and later served two months behind bars, TMZ reported.
