Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help Friday to find a 30-year-old man from Arcadia who suffers from depression and was last seen leaving work in Sherman Oaks.
Shane Anthony Trear last contacted his family about 6:30 p.m. on March 6, according to Deputy Erin Liu of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Trear is white. He is 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds, Liu said. He has tattoos of a rose on the top of his right hand, a bird behind his left ear, “Equitas Veritas” tattooed on his chest and Family tattooed vertically on the left side of his ribs.
Trear was last seen wearing khaki work pants and a green long-sleeved shirt, Liu said.
Anyone with information on Trear’s whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
