The Pomona Police Department said Saturday that its lobby will be temporarily closed to the public due to the coronavirus.
“Effective today, the Police Station Lobby will be closed to the public until further notice,” the department tweeted Saturday afternoon “As always, your Pomona Police Officers have been & will continue to focus on keeping our #Pomona community safe. Should you need us, please dial 909-622-1241.”
Pomona officials announced a day earlier that all city facilities, including City Hall, community centers, and the public library will be closed to the public until further notice.
On Friday, the Pomona Unified School District joined other county districts in announcing that its schools would close Monday, continuing through March 27. The district’s spring break begins March 30, meaning classes will not resume until April 6.
