Los Angeles County sheriff’s investigators Tuesday renewed a call for the public’s help to find a 29-year-old schizophrenic man who went missing in Rosemead about two weeks ago.

In addition to schizophrenia, Donald Adrian Alvary has “bipolar disorder and a diminished mental capacity,” according to the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit.

He was last seen in the 7500 block of Hellman Avenue, near North New Avenue, on March 11 about 8 a.m., Deputy Tracy Koerner said.

Alvary is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-8 and 155 pounds, with brown eyes and brown waist-length hair. On the day he disappeared, he was wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about Alvary’s whereabouts was urged to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477) or lacrimestoppers.org.
