A two-vehicle crash in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles reportedly killed two people Monday and injured two.

The crash was reported about 2 a.m. in the 600 block of North Highland Avenue, LAPD Officer A. Delatorre said.

A news videographer at the scene said fire officials confirmed two deaths. He said witnesses reported one vehicle caught fire. The videographer said one vehicle hit a large palm tree so hard it knocked over the tree.
