Officials Sunday released the name of a 38-year-old woman found dead on a sidewalk in Torrance.
The woman was identified as Racquel Perry of Torrance, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Officers dispatched at 4:45 a.m. Saturday regarding a report of a person down on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of Cabrillo Avenue found a woman with head trauma, Torrance Police Sgt. Alexander Martinez said.
Paramedics arriving at the location pronounced Perry dead at the scene, Martinez said.
Torrance police urged anyone with information regarding the death to call them at 310-328-3456.
