A 64-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car Wednesday in Garden Grove, police reported.
The victim, Laura White, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which occurred about 6:45 a.m. at Valley View Street and Lampson Avenue, police said.
The 39-year-old man behind the wheel of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado that struck the pedestrian remained on scene and was cooperative with police. It does not appear he was impaired at the time, police said.
