A 92-year-old woman who wandered away from a Palm Springs home Friday morning and was reported missing shortly afterward was found safe, police said.
Lita Bowman was located and was in good health, the Palm Springs Police Department reported about 11:30 a.m. No other details were released.
Palm Springs police had put out the call about 8:30 a.m. that Bowman had been spotted earlier Friday morning walking in the 2600 block of Anza Trail, south of the intersection of East Palm Canyon and South Farrell drives.
