An elderly man was reportedly pistol-whipped and hospitalized after a home-invasion robbery in Diamond Bar, according to the sheriff’s department and a videographer.
The robbery happened about 2 p.m. at a residence in the 23800 block of Sunset Crossing Road, said sheriff’s Sgt. Rick Cardona.
A videographer at the scene told City News Service a 90-year-old man was pistol whipped during the break-in and taken to the hospital by paramedics.
Cardona said deputies were still at the scene and he had no further details on the break-in.
