Firefighters Saturday quelled a detached garage fire that spread to the sub-floor of a home in Panorama City.
Firefighters dispatched at 10:07 a.m. to 14667 W. Tupper St. had the bulk of the fire out within 40 minutes, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“The fire appears to have started at the detached garage with some extension to a single family dwelling through the sub-floor,” Stewart said. “LAFD Arson Section is responding for the investigation.”
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
