Authorities Thursday identified a man who was shot to death in El Monte over the weekend.
Ruben Nunez, 40 was shot about 8:45 p.m. Sunday at Emery Street and Peck Road and died at a hospital, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. His home town was not known.
