Two people were killed Tuesday in a traffic crash on the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway in the Bellflower area.
Paramedics were sent to the area near Downey Avenue at about 10 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol.
One person died at the scene, and the second person died while being taken by paramedics to a hospital, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
Information was not immediately available on the identities of the victims.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
