Two people were killed Tuesday in a traffic crash on the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway in the Bellflower area.
The crash was reported about 11:40 a.m. near Downey Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One person died at the scene, and the second person died while being taken by paramedics to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identities of the victims.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
