Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was fatally shot in Compton.
Heriberto Barba Rodriguez, 48, of Los Angeles was shot at5:20 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of West Compton Boulevard and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the coroner’s office.
No arrests were immediately reported, and no suspect description was released.
