Police Thursday circulated footage of a suspect in an ATM robbery in Santa Ana.
The robbery occurred May 12 about 3 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Warner Avenue, near South Bristol Street, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
The victim was withdrawing money and placed his wallet on the ATM’s counter, police say.
A white BMW X5 SUV pulled into a parking spot nearby, and its passenger exited the car and confronted the victim with a knife, according to police.
The suspect demanded the victim’s money and grabbed his wallet before fleeing in the BMW.
