A man was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of another man on the outskirts of Koreatown, a police officer said Sunday.
The two were fighting in the 300 block of South Vermont Avenue a little after 11:45 p.m. Saturday when the suspect, a man in his late 30s, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times, said Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries. The suspect was arrested at the scene of the assault and the knife was recovered at the location, Cervantes said.
Police had no approximate age for the victim. His name will be released pending notification of next of kin.
