An officer-involved shooting occurred in the Larchmont area of Los Angeles after a fatal stabbing at the location, authorities said Monday.
The officers responded at 9:25 p.m. Sunday to a report of a stabbing in the 600 block of North Wilton Place, said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
The officers found one woman stabbing another woman, Lopez said.
An officer-involved shooting took place, said LAPD Officer Tony Im.
The stabbing victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the suspect was taken to a hospital for treatment of her wounds, Im said.
