A person believed to be armed with a rifle was removed from a North Hollywood home Sunday evening, and an officer-involved shooting was reported.

Video from the scene showed SWAT officers walking out of an apartment building with a handcuffed man.

The standoff ended at 10:37 p.m., according to Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.

Im said there was an officer-involved shooting at the scene, and that preliminary information indicated one officer was injured. No further details were available.

The initial call of assault with a deadly weapon and shots fired was reported about 9:35 p.m. in the 5100 block of Bakman Avenue, near Magnolia Boulevard and Tujunga Avenue, according to the LAPD North Hollywood Station.
