Authorities Thursday sought public help to find a masked suspect who shot a man who was jogging in Culver City.
The shooting occurred about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday near Washington Boulevard and Hargis Street, according to the Culver City Police Department.
The victim, a Culver City man whose name and age were withheld, was hospitalized in stable condition, police said.
“The victim was approached by a suspect who was armed with a handgun,” according to police. “The suspect demanded the victim’s property, and at some point fired one round, striking the victim.”
The gunman was described as a 20- to 30-year-old man wore a black hoodie and a mask.
