One unit of a Sherman Oaks strip mall was damaged by fire Monday morning, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 2:54 a.m. in the 15000 block of West Ventura Blvd., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
“Firefighters found a one-story strip mall with fire showing from one unit,” Prange said.
It took 31 firefighters 21 minutes to put out the flames, he said. No injuries were reported.
“The cause of the fire is under active investigation,” Prange said.
